Advanced surgical procedures are now available at Brazosport Regional Health System. Dr. Robert "Bud" Thompson has expanded his surgical practice from The Texas Medical Center to Lake Jackson. Dr. Thompson brings with him 17 years of Medical Center experience in treating a wide variety of surgical conditions- from simple problems to the most complex, life-threatening conditions. He specializes in performing the most up-to-date procedures available for any given surgical problem.
He has considerable experience and expertise in many different surgical areas. These include-
Cancer Surgery for malignant diseases of the Thyroid, Lymph Nodes, Breast, Skin and Soft Tissues, Stomach, Distal Esophagus, Small Bowel, Colon, Rectum, Liver, Pancreas, Gallbladder, and Spleen. Many of the procedures for these diseases can be done with minimally invasive laparoscopy.
Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery for Cancer, Diverticulitis, Gallstones, Hernias, Appendicitis, Reflux Disease, Spleen disorders, Liver and Kidney cysts, and Diagnosis of other Abdominal problems.
